Picture

It seems to be a different café latte,
With extra squirts of frothy delight.
And what’s that bubbling up and away,
Made at Kirra, so it must be alright?

Picture

Emma climbs high on her tiny little legs,
She’ll climb anything allowing more height.
She gazes from every new view ‘upstairs’,
She was rescued from the ceiling fan last night.

Picture

Our home on wheels, a sanctuary of dreams,
The open road our compass, the stars our guide.
A cocoon of memories, such freedom it gives,
Where might we be stopping tonight?

Picture

Here is a lighthouse is so tiny, so grande,
Her light shines throughout the night.
The signals come from Fingal Headland,
Beaming white, with a red warning light.

Picture

Waves pounding cliffs, relentless and bold,
The water collides, to clap with applause.
Teeny-tiny Emma watches the afternoon unfold,
Her usual misunderstood frown― just because.

Picture

So let's raise a glass to Emma’s delight,
Today, she's the happiest fur babe ever seen.
A gentle breeze blows, in low sun― Winter light,
Birthday wishes to our Broadbeach queen.

Picture

Before the stars are seen to sparkle,
The Sun lays a glowing path to follow.
So many reflections we can all marvel,
Watch out for Greenmount sunrise tomorrow.

Picture

In a cool Wintery sky, puffy clouds soar,
Drifting at peace, sunset high, so, so grande.
Let’s seize the day, there’s much to explore,
Come along, join in, take my hand.

Picture

Shipwrecks whisper tales across Moreton Bay,
A concert of stillness, the wind, waves and mist.
Deception Bay’s secret of sunk vessels lay,
Stand by a tree and listen ― it’s too good to miss.

Picture

Sunshine splashes out from clouds on the horizon,
A zephyr brushes past whispering low and sweet.
Best kaleidoscopic mix I’ve ever set my eyes on,
Let’s fly with the birds to where the Sun’s rays meet.

Picture

A true haven for peace and happiness,
Woorim sands are on protected land.
Bribie Island, a gem for migratory birds,
A paradise so tranquil― ever so grande.

Picture

There's a beauty in stillness, a Winter chill in the air,
The sun casts warmth, while it’s whispering cold.
In the silence of nature all birdsong is spare,
‘Til Springtime birds return to Buckley's Hole.

Picture

No need for words, no need for sound,
Emma is adrift and I am her guide.
She feels so contented while floating around,
"Paddle harder," she barks, “there’s an incoming tide”.

Picture

In this golden hour, time lost the race,
The glowing sun falls way up ahead.
We drifted in to the sunset's embrace,
Gleaming like gold, from end to end.

Picture

A tiny leaf fell and blew with some breeze,
From where it grew, it was flicked far ahead.
Once it was visited by birds and bees,
Now on the lookout for a new garden bed.

Picture

As the day whispers a fine farewell,
Crimson and gold make a fiery blend.
A splash of colours paints the sky so well,
It's magic when day and night transcend.

Picture

At Main Beach you follow the beach break,
Gaze at the sky's colour, a masterpiece so rare.
Walking at night shakes off any heartache,
It feels good with a sea breeze in your hair.

Picture

My fur baby, a silent sentinel by my side,
Such curiousness shows on her face.
She watches me exercise, I am her guide,
She patiently sits, she watches, she waits.
